A little about me
I’m a Philippines-based artist, illustrator, writer, and journal keeper. Marikit Studios is the part of my life where the imaginative things get to take up space: paintings, characters, stories, sketchbooks, D&D worlds, books I’m thinking about, and the odd creative obsession that refuses to leave quietly.
I work mostly in watercolor, gouache, colored pencils, markers, and digital media. I love fantasy, nature, world cultures, history, stationery, tiny details, whimsical creatures, and art that feels like there is a story just outside the frame.
Over the years my illustration work has included children’s publishing, poetry projects, commissions, fan art, character pieces, and environment studies. These days, I’m also returning more deliberately to writing, journaling, and making art simply because I want to.
Beyond Marikit
I also build systems, teams, and businesses.
Outside Marikit Studios, I’m the founder of Faelight Business Consultancy, where I help people and growing businesses turn messy ideas into clearer systems, stronger operations, better ways of working, and practical training that people can actually use.
People first, Systems second, magic all throughout.
It looks different from painting, but the instinct is surprisingly similar: find the shape inside the chaos, make it understandable, and build something people can actually live or work inside.
